The European Union is planning significant advancements in blockchain technology through the European Blockchain Services Infrastructure (EBSI). This initiative aims to use blockchain for authenticating public services, including verifiable credentials, digital identities, and certifications across the EU. The EU has also started collaborations with other global regions.
